Fine Art Photography-history, WWI, WWII, forgotten places

Photography is a journey happily interrupted by detours of the unexpected. Most often my destinations are places radiating history, where the sense of time and event can be felt; castle ruins, ancient medieval villages, battlefield remnants. But along the way occurs the unexpected—a traveling circus that appears like a mushroom after a rain, here for a day and then gone. Or the simple convergence of otherworldly form and color that is an orchid.
